PART 2.a - In Character Non-WH13/Eureka Canon Characters (Skip/delete if not applicable)
Full Name: Luke Skywalker
Nicknames: Used to get called ‘Wormy’ but that was during his teen years. Mara likes to call him Farmboy. Han sometimes calls him ‘Kid’.
DOB/Age: About 60. Born 19yrs before Battle of Yavin.
Birthplace: Polis Massa. But he grew up on Tattooine.
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight
Species: Human, Force-sensitive
Fandom: Star Wars Legends
Journal: farmboyjedi.dreamwidth.com
PB: Mark Hamill
Holoprojection Human Interface PB: (For non-human appearing characters only) N/A
Canon Point: Legacy of the Force ‘Sacrifice’

Appearance: Luke stands about 5ft 8in, making him just a little on the short side. He has blond hair that darkened a bit later in his life and is starting to gray by this point, and piercing blue eyes. He has an average build and a slim look but is in excellent physical shape and good muscle tone. Even though he is middle aged by this point in his canon, he still looks somewhat younger, probably due to his universe’s enhanced medical tech and natural healing abilities.

Luke has scarring on his face from an attack by a wild animal called a wampa, but it isn’t quite as noticeable now unless you know where to look. It did, however, slightly alter his appearance from his younger days. He has a prosthetic right hand which is, due to the enhanced technology, capable of feeling sensations. It’s covered in synthetic flesh that blends in with the rest of him although he will sometimes wear a glove over it. He probably has a few other assorted scars; many of his wounds have been healed either by bacta treatments or Jedi healing trances, but sometimes scarring is still permanent.

Luke usually prefers dark clothes, either black or brown trousers and long-sleeved shirt or a black robe with a sort of vest over the top and his outer Jedi robes over that. He’s often seen wearing a black or brown Jedi robe over top of either outfit. Usually, he opts for comfortable, functional clothes that won’t get in the way of the battling he’s frequently engaged in. He usually wears dark colored boots.

History: (250 words minimum; do not just link to a wiki page)
Luke was born in about 19 years before the Battle of Yavin on the space colony of Polis Massa. His father was Anakin Skywalker, a powerful Jedi Knight during the Clone Wars who fell to the Dark Side. Anakin became the Sith Lord Darth Vader and, losing control of his anger, he fatally injured Luke’s mother. Luke and his twin sister were separated to protect them from possible discovery by Vader. Leia was sent to Alderaan to be raised by its queen and crown prince, while Luke was taken to his aunt and uncle on Tattooine.

Luke was never told of his heritage, due to Uncle Owen believing he’d follow his father and fall to the Dark Side. He was a natural dreamer and always wanted to leave home and be a hero, but Owen kept trying to get him to stay and work the moisture farm. As a boy, he was lost and injured at one point, and was brought home by Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, who was watching over him as he grew up.

Luke took to racing speeders and taking risks, and picked up the nickname ‘Wormy’ from his friends. He discovered the truth about his heritage when Owen bought two droids to work the farm. They had been sent, unbeknownst to the family, by Leia, who was being held captive on the Death Star. R2-D2 had a message for Obi-Wan and Luke discovered it. When he took the droid to ‘Old Ben’, Obi-Wan gave him his father’s lightsaber and told him about the Jedi and the Force.

Luke returned home to find his family’s farm destroyed, his aunt and uncle killed by the Imperials. He left with Obi-Wan and they stopped in Mos Eisley to hire pilot Han Solo to take them to Alderaan. Sadly, when they arrived, Alderaan was already destroyed. The Death Star’s tractor beam captured the ship and pulled them aboard. Luke convinced Han to disguise himself as a Stormtrooper and the two rescued Leia from her cell, and then escaped through a garbage chute to get back to the Falcon.

The group went to the nearby rebel base on Yavin IV. From there, Luke flew with a squadron of fighter pilots in what became known as the Battle of Yavin. He used his newly found Force ability to guide a torpedo into the Death Star’s exhaust port and the station was destroyed. Luke, along with Han, received a medal for the battle and he was named a Hero of the Rebellion.

After the battlte, the rebels continued to fly missions while searching for a new base location. Luke was hunted by a bounty hunter named X-7 as the imperials tried to learn Luke’s identity. He got in trouble for disobeying Leia’s orders, but again disobeyed her grounding of him when Obi-Wan’s spirit told him she was in danger. He battled and was nearly killed by a Force-sensitive Tusken seeking revenge for Anakin’s slaughter of Tuskens after his mother’s death. He encountered and fought an ancient Jedi captured and corrupted by a Sith spirit trapped inside a talisman called the Muur Talisman and ultimately had to save Leia from being pulled in by it. Luke helped to locate the Kaliburr crystal and, empowered by it and the spirit of Obi-Wan Kenobi, even managed to hold off Vader in their first duel. He also helped to form and begin training his Rogue One squadron.

The rebel base was relocated to Hoth, and sometime after, Luke was attacked by a wampa while out scouting. The creature dragged him to its cave and hung him from the ceiling. Luke escaped by calling his lightsaber to him and attacking the creature with it. However, he only made it a short distance into the snow before collapsing. Luke saw the spirit of Obi-Wan again, telling him to go train with Master Yoda in the Dagobah system. He was found soon after by Han, who saved Luke by using the lightsaber to slice open his tauntaun, which had died from the cold, and putting Luke inside the carcass. Luke spent time in a bacta tank healing after he and Han were found and returned to base.

The base was discovered, and the rebels evacuated. Han, Leia and Chewbacca fled to Cloud City at Bespin, while Luke headed for Dagobah. Luke was initially told by Yoda that he was too old to train, but the aged Master still did begin training him. Luke had difficulty with a lot of things at first, like not being able to lift his sunken X-Wing out of the swamp because it was too big. Yoda sent him into a cave which was said to show a person’s greatest fears. Luke brought along his weapons despite Yoda saying he wouldn’t need them. He battled an apparition of Vader, and cut off its head, only to find his own face behind the severed head’s helmet. He realized it symbolized him not being able to control his anger and acting rashly and falling to the Dark Side.

Luke felt the danger his friends were in when they were captured at Bespin. Vader set a trap for Luke, knowing that his torture of Han and Leia’s distress at the situation would go through the Force to Luke and draw him in. Luke left for Bespin, despite Yoda telling him that he was not ready and that his friends would only suffer more. By the time he landed, Han had been frozen in carbonite and Lando Calrissian was helping Leia to escape. Luke battled Vader, but his new skills were no match for the Dark Lord. Vader severed Luke’s right hand and as Luke clung to metal scaffolding, battered and unarmed, Vader revealed that he was actually Luke’s father. Vader bade Luke to join him so they could destroy the Emperor and rule the galaxy together, but Luke chose to potentially die instead. He was sucked into a shaft and left hanging from the underside of the structure. Leia heard his cries for help through her own newly developing Force powers and guided Lando and the Falcon to rescue him.

Luke, Leia and Chewie spent the next sixth months alternating between missions for the rebellion and searching for Han, who had been taken to Jabba the Hutt by bounty hunter Boba Fett. He had to escape capture at one point with help from the very man who’d captured him, and who had then been captured himself.

Luke was infected with a disease driven by a blood-read stone that left him comatose. He had been targeted in a revenge plot, and Leia and Chewie raced against time to find and retrieve another stone that could save Luke. He recovered after the stones were reunited.

A number of other missions were flown, and during this time, Luke fell in love with a female squadron mate. He then found himself strangely compelled to shoot her down. He was at risk of court-martial, but it was discovered that she was actually an imperial agent. His confidence in the Force had been shaken, but slowly recovered.

Luke continued to train, building himself a new lightsaber. He flew several more missions, coming close to getting Han along with Leia and Lando, but Fett escaped at the last minute. Luke was nearly captured again while trying to rescue Leia from Prince Xizor, who had seduced her with his pheromones. She responded by kneeing him in the groin, but was locked up, leaving it to Luke to rescue her. Finally, it was learned that Han had been delivered to Jabba, and a rescue was prepared.

Leia arrived first, posing as a bounty hunter with Chewie as her prisoner. She freed Han, but was captured and enslaved by Jabba. Luke arrived shortly after, and tried to use a mind trick to free his friends, only to find that mind tricks don’t work on Hutts. He was dropped into the rancor pit, but killed the beast by stopping its mouth with a bone, then bringing its heavy cage door down on top of it.

Jabba ordered the group fed to the sarlaac, except for Leia, who was to remain his slave. Luke warned Jabba to let them go, but the Hutt simply laughed it off. Luke used his newly learned Jedi skills as he was pushed off the barge, landing back atop it and catching his lightsaber, launched from a hidden compartment on R2. He fought back furiously against Jabba’s guards and Boba Fetta, while Leia took advantage of the chaos to strangle the giant Hutt and Han, still half blind, tried to keep Lando, who had infiltrated the palace as a guard, from falling into the Sarlaac. The group fled after blowing up the barge. Luke only discovered later that his future wife, an imperial assassin at the time, was also undercover, and would have killed him had Jabba not brushed her off and refused to let her on the barge.

Luke returned to Dagobah and visited Yoda, who was now dying. Yoda told Luke that he had to face Vader. Initially, the young Jedi was reluctant, not wanting to kill his own father. Obi-Wan also appeared, revealing to Luke that Leia was actually his sister. After Yoda became one with the Force, Luke left and headed to Sullust, where the rebel fleet was hiding. They proceeded to Endor, to take down the second, much larger Death Star that had been built there. A stolen code allowed the shuttle to land on the Forest Moon of Endor, although Vader sensed them coming.

The group was separated, with Leia chasing after Stormtroopers on speeders and getting befriended by an Ewok named Wicket. Han, Luke and Chewie were captured by other Ewoks, and taken to the village. The meat-eating Ewoks planned to eat them as a sacrifice to c-3po, who they believed was a god. Luke’s use of levitation to lift Leia’s chair convinced the tribe that Threepio would use evil magic on them if they did not release the group. The protocol droid then convinced the Ewoks to join in the attack on the Death Star’s shield generator.
Luke talked with Leia, telling her of their relationship and that he had to face his father, something she was frightened about. He surrendered to the imperials while the rebel force attacked the generator. Luke again battled Vader, this time as the Dark Lord’s equal in lightsaber combat. Even the Emperor was impressed by how quickly Luke picked up the skills. Luke tried to turn Vader back to the light, but was unable, and the two Sith lords were unhappy with Luke’s emotional control. Vader chased him, bringing down metal infrastructure with his own saber and Luke hid, not wanting to give into his anger. Vader picked up on his thoughts of Leia, and the idea of Vader turning her to evil enraged Luke. He fought back furiously.

Luke cut off Vader’s mechanical hand, but then reigned in his anger, declaring himself a Jedi and refusing to kill the defeated Vader. Palpatine became angry that he couldn’t turn Luke and decided to kill him instead. Tortured by the Emperor’s Force lightning, Luke begged his father to help, and the remaining goodness inside of Anakin was finally touched. No longer Vader, Anakin threw Palpatine into the reactor shaft, killing him (for the moment) but fatally damaging his life support suit.

Luke tried to save his father, but was unable to do anything for him in time. Anakin asked for his helmet to be removed so that he could see his son with his own eyes before his death. Luke escaped with Anakin’s body as the second Death Star was destroyed. Redeemed, Anakin became one with the Force, and Luke saw him with Obi-Wan and Yoda as he burned Vader’s armor on the moon of Endor.

Luke led a fight on Bakura shortly after, fighting the invading Sii-Ruuk, a race that used the energy of their victims to power their technology. After the planet was freed, Luke was inspired to begin searching for more Force users to rebuild the order. He led one final, unexpected battle during a trip to Corellia, and then turned the leadership of Rogue Squadron over to Wedge Antillies.

Luke found himself caught up in a lot of the post-Imperial chaos. Systems were fighting to break free of the Imperial remnants and the Rebellion was trying to build a new government. Again, Luke fell in love, but the girl, Mary, was killed shortly after. Luke became nervous about training new Jedi and the danger of the Dark Side, but his attempt to avoid causing evil ended up creating it when he refused to train a young man who fell under the influence of the Sith. Flint was redeemed in the ensuring battle, but another young rebel lost her life. Luke met with the spirits of Obi-Wan and Anakin and Yoda and agreed to begin training new Jedi.

Luke fought in the Negai-Tof war, during which he was captured by Lumiya, the Dark Lady of the Sith. He manged to escape, and realized that she was actually his former love, Shira. She escaped him for the time being.

Luke fought to stop Trioculus, who claimed to be a son of Palpatine but was really an imposter, from retrieving one of Vader’s gloves from the ocean of Dak. The mutant escaped with the glove, and Luke learned that he was a puppet for a group of Imperial Grand Moffs. A boy who claimed to have been a Jedi prince helped Luke but was captured by an imposter pretending to be a Sith Supreme Prophet. After the boy and his father, Palpatine’s true son, were helped to escape, the false prophet was stopped by a Grand Admiral.

Luke’s final mission with the Republic Army was battling Lord Shadowspawn, aka Cronal. Luke let himself be captured during the fight, and worked to free the minds controlled by Cronal. He resigned as a general afterward and made a home base on Coruscant.

Luke traveled the galaxy searching for other Force-sensitives, while continuing his own training and his search for information on the Order. Much of what he found was forged, however. He invited Corran Horn to train as a Jedi after rescuing him.

Luke went to Dathomir when Han abducted Leia and took her there during his competition with Prince Isolder for her affections. Luke encountered the Nightsisters and battled a group of Dark Side users. Shortly after, Luke was able to learn more about his father’s childhood and had one more meeting with Obi Wan, who would visit him only one more time later on.

Luke fought in the Thrawn Crisis, and encountered his future wife for the first time. Thrawn was a Grand Admiral who was trying to rebuild the Empire. During the battles, Luke was rescued by smuggler Talon Karrde, and met his associate, Mara Jade. Mara was angry at Luke at the time, because he had killed the Emperor and ended her privileged life as an imperial assassin. Palpatine had implanted a command in her mind before his death, driving her to kill Luke. The compulsion was ultimately purged when Luke battled a dark clone of himself, called Luuke Skywalker. It was Mara who ultimately killed Luuke and fulfilled the emperor’s command, finally purging it from her mind.

The two ended up working together out of necessity for a time, rescuing Karrde and trying to end the threat of Thrawn. Their relationship softened a bit and Luke set her up as an intermediary between the Republic and the smuggling community. He gave her Anakin’s lightsaber to replace her lost one.

Luke briefly joined the Dark Side to understand it better and to try to defeat it from within. He was challenged many times by Palpatine, who had placed himself into a clone body. Luke nearly lost himself in the Dark Side due to Palpatine’s desire to break him down, but managed with the help of Leia to overcome the darkness and battle Palpatine. Luke then had to battle the last of Palpatine’s cloned bodies as the Emperor sought to possess Leia’ s unborn child, Anakin, though Han ultimately killed Palpatine.

About this time, Luke, now a Jedi Master, finally established his Jedi Academy and began training more new Jedi. He still faced threats, though, from dark Jedi. One captured him on Mustafar in an attempt to create a group of dark Luke clones, but Luke managed to escape with help from the dark Jedi’s brother. There was also Exar Kun, who influenced and possessed one of Luke’s students. Luke was alble to free the man and he became an accomplished Jedi himself.

Luke dealt with feuding Gammorean tribes and got injured, waking up on a battlemoon called the Eye of Palpatine. He discovered a woman whose body had died, but her spirit had survived. During the battles with the warring tribes and a strange computer intelligence called the Will, a woman who had been on the ship died, and Callista took over her body.

Callista became distressed because she couldn’t touch the Force. During a trip to Hoth, they had to battle a herd of wampas and only narrowly escaped with their lives. Shortly after, he believed Callista had died, but she then sent a message saying that she was leaving to try and find her path in life and to discover more about her problem with the Force. Luke accepted it, though he was saddened.

Later, Luke heard of Callista’s location and decided to try and find her, only to end up shipwrecked and fighting a hostile tribe. He continued to search for Callista, but found himself also searching for Leia, who had been taken captive. She escaped, though, and Luke kept up his search for Callista. He found out shortly after that she had been coordinating for the other side of the battle, and had to accept that they weren’t going to be together.

Next was the Empire Reborn movement, led by a fallen Jedi and involving some of Luke’s fallen students. His own students helped him to fight the group, but although several groups associated with the movement were defeated, it was difficult to kill it for good. He had to wage a battle against a being called Hethrir, and another called Waru, who tricked Luke into a trance and pulled him into it, with Han and Leia. Waru ultimately dragged Hethrir in with him and the trio was able to escape. Hethrir finally went back to his own world.

Luke found himself unable to feel the Force as strongly and went on a mission to figure out why. While he was on retreat, he was tricked by a Fallanassi who claimed she had information on Luke’s mother. He tried to find out more about the Fallanassi group, ended up in another battle, and eventually discovered that what he had been told was not true.

In the Aldermanian rebellion, the senate building on Coruscant was attacked. Luke went searching for the attacker. The bomber was desperate for power and threatened to detonate more bombs across the galaxy. Mara Jade arrived with Force-blocking ysalamari and Leia shot the guy before he could do more damage.

Luke helped put down the first Correllian insurrection. Shortly after, he and Mara went to retrieve an important document from a fortress called the Hand of Thrawn. Luke Force-bonded with Mara at the time, and as the fortress flooded, he asked her to marry him if they made it out alive.

Luke and Mara’s wedding was a larger affair than they wanted, partly due to Threepio getting involved. Luke got caught up in a bar fight at his bachelor party, and a group of Imperial loyalists planned to disrupt the wedding and kill the couple, but they were thwarted.

Luke continued to train his students, including his nephew Anakin. They spent time on Tattooine and faced Tusken raiders and then had a mission to Borgo Prime, where they found Obi-Wan’s lightsaber and another Jedi relic.

After a fight with one of Karrde’s smuggling associates, Luke and Mara investigated the Outbound Flight ship, getting captured at one point along the way and fighting the Vagaari warriors while aboard the ship.
Luke returned to the Jedi academy to continue his training of new Jedi. He oversaw operations while taking new missions and leaving a lot of the instruction to other Jedi. He and Tenel Ka infiltrated a academy for Dark Jedi, where Jaina, Jacen and Lowbacca had been held captive. He ultimately had to prepare his own students for a battle with the Shadow Academy followers, which they won.

The next battle was against the Diversity Alliance, a group threatening terrorism against humans. There was also a resurgence of the Black Sun group that Luke and his students took part in fighting.

The galaxy was invaded by the Yuzhaan Vong, a race of dogmatic alien invaders and Luke would spend the next few years helping in the conflict while trying to reorganize the Jedi Council. Mara Jade also became ill during this time, due to coomb spores that had been released during a battle with the Vong. Most sufferers died quickly, and it was only Mara’s Jedi abilities that let her survive longer. She found a temporary cure, but when she became pregnant, she was told by healer Cilghal that the cure would harm her unborn child. Luke had to help her purge the disease from her body after it resurged and nearly killed her. She was able to safely deliver Luke’s son, Ben.

Luke dealt with strife and rival factions within the Jedi Order, although eventually the Order had to unify to fight another battle that threatened them all.

Although the threat of the Vong had been driven back, a race called the Killiks also threatened the galaxy, starting the Swarm War. During this time, Luke discovered holograms about his parents’ history that were still held by R2-D2. The little droid tried to stop Luke from seeing them, but he managed to coax the droid into complying and showing them. Luke declared himself the Grand Master of the Jedi around this time.

A second civil war broke out in the galaxy, with Han feeling compelled to side with his homeworld, Correllia. The Solos themselves, though, ran into problems with Han’s treacherous cousin, Thracken. Luke and Mara infiltrated Correllia, and ultimately, Han and Leia ended up abandoning the other side and the rift between Luke and his sister’s family was repaired.

Luke had begun having visions of a dark figure that resembled his father, and later discovered that it was Jacen. His nephew fell to the Dark Side and declared himself a Sith Lord. He was under the control of Lumiya, who had escaped Luke many years earlier and was now Jacen’s master. Ultimately, Jacen, intending to sacrifice his mom, Leia to cement his status as a Sith Lord, hit Mara with a poison dart when she interfered.

Luke is pulled into the Warehouse just as he feels Mara’s death.

Previous Game History, IF APPLICABLE: (250 words minimum - tell us what happened to your character in that previous game and how it impacted their characterization) NA
Personality: (200 words minimum)
Luke is a classic small town boy thrust into a lifetime of adventure and heroism. He grew up wanting to be a hero and have big adventures, despite not knowing of his famous and troubling parentage. His aunt and uncle did their best to raise him as a responsible, upstanding young man, but they, especially Owen, kept his heritage a secret out of fear that he’d follow his father and turn dark.

At this point in his canon, Luke has matured a lot from his beginnings. He retains his sense of idealism and his belief in the inherent good of other beings, and he has a natural desire to help people and do the right thing. Sometimes he can still be a bit too easily influenced, something like his dad. However, he is more confident, capable and wiser, as well as more aware of the reality of the war against the Dark Side. He has been through a lot of dark times along with the good ones, and they’ve tempered and forged him into a powerful warrior. By this point in his life, he is a Jedi Grand Master, his power equal to many of the most powerful Jedi of the New Order.

He does his best to keep his cool and stay calm, but although he made a personal decision not to give in to the temptation of the Dark Side, that is not to say he hasn’t struggled with it, and nearly given into it at one point. He knows he must reign in his emotions and do his best to control them. Unlike Old Order Jedi, he’s often able to harness both sides of the Force without going over to the Dark Side. He’s devoted to the Jedi path, but at the same time, he is not entirely like the Jedi of old. He isn’t afraid to feel, to live, to have emotions and attachments.

Luke is fiercely protective of those he cares about, and will do almost anything to help them. Leia and Mara are the two closest ; he has a twin bond with his sister and a close pair-bond with his wife. He had a lot of encounters with the opposite sex over the years, even seeming to get close to Callista, but it was not until Mara that he found his true soul mate. With her, their initial volleys of snarking and harsh remarks at each other have evolved into playfully teasingly snarking at each other.

Special facts/special abilities about your character: Be detailed.
Luke is a skilled pilot who can fly just about anything, and inherited his dad’s innate military-style flying ability. He’s also got some of his father’s mechanical skill. By this time in his canon, he’s developed into a good leader and mentor, despite not really being a natural at it. He’s a naturally good swordsman, although there’s likely some Force skill there as well, as he was able to pick up his father’s form of saber fighting after only one exposure to it and has mastered several other forms over his life.

He has an ability to see shatterpoints, a Force-guided sense of where something can break or change the course of events. He can boost his natural speed, strength and stamina with the Force, or give a boost to another Force user, most frequently Mara or Leia. He can also enter a battle meld to fight in perfect mental tandem with them. At one point, he Force-bonded with Mara, essentially melding their Force presences and minds together in a deep connection. He can use the classic Jedi Mind Trick to influence others, but does so only rarely, due to not being fond of the method. He can also use the Force to disguise himself.

Luke is telepathic to other Force users, and can feel their thoughts and emotions. However, probing another person’s mind is something that’s done only with permission, unless there’s good reason. This is heightened somewhat with those closest to him, like Leia, Mara and the Solo children and he can sense things like their pain even if he isn’t consciously connecting to them. He especially tends to detect or finish Mara’s thoughts at times without realizing it, sometimes earning him a playfully snarky response like “get out of my head, Skywalker”.

If injured, he can place himself in a Jedi healing trance and heal himself to a point, even with injuries that others might not survive. Mara will typically wake him from one with “I love you, Luke”.

He can shield his Force presence and make himself undetectable to others. He can generate copies of objects or vehicles, although it took time to learn to use the technique without burning himself out. He can become so bonded with the Force that he is essentially one with it, vastly increasing his strength and power with his lightsaber in battle, and that he may not even seem to be there, physic ally or even personality-wise. He can use a type of Force-lightning called Electric Judgement. He can easily destroy even large objects or teleport them great distances. He can create illusions that are visible even at great distances.

What is arriving with your character? (Note: they will only arrive with things that can be carried on their bodies, e.g.: wallets, wands, briefcases, backpacks, favorite handheld weapon, small pets, infants, etc.) His lightsaber and possibly his comm device, although it won’t work here.

PART 3 - Writing Samples
1. First Person Writing Sample: Must be for the character you are apping, 100 words minimum, may use previous game threads
It's still had to believe that Mara is here and alive. I know I felt her die, I felt the link being severed. It felt as though my world had fallen apart. But when I found myself in here, I felt the link return to life, as though nothing had happened. I am still trying to understand what this place is, exactly, and how I was brought here. Mara has tried to explain to me as much as she can, but I expect that it will take some time before I'm fully comfortable. It does appear that there is no escape, although any of us can be pulled back into our world at any time. I find myself struggling with that. I know that if one or both of us is pulled back into our world, Mara will certainly die, just as I felt before I left. As long as we are here, she is alive, and we are together. Part of me wishes that we could be assured of staying here, but I know that it would not be the will of the Force. I cannot abandon the Galaxy and the Jedi order if a way can be found to return home. I do not know if we will remember any of this, no one is certain. I will make the most of what time we've been given, but when the Force wills that we have to return home, I will accept it and do what must be done.

2.Third Person Writing Sample: Gemini City Log post:
T Luke entered the hotel and approached the room he'd been told Anakin and Obi-Wan were sharing together. He'd been lucky himself, he thought. He hadn't had to deal with finding accommodations since he'd simply moved on in with Mara. He still had some shopping to do, but he had gone ahead and got a couple of necessities, like a warmer jacket. Like he'd told Anakin, this place was better than Hoth, but it was still cold.

He had wanted to meet with Obi-Wan again once he'd settled in, as their last meeting had been a rather short one due to them being outside and recently arrived. Luke had messaged him and arranged a time when Anakin would be out. He was a little less nervous around his father now, but it would still be easier to talk to Obi-Wan alone. Luke wondered as he located the room how much, if anything, Anakin had told. He still thought of the talk, and of what he'd learned about Padme. It made him wish even more that he could've met her.

Luke felt Obi-Wan's Force presence in the room as he knocked, though he made no effort to probe. His shields were mid-strength. He didn't feel the need to be as alert and careful as he had around his father at first, but he was still wrestling with his conflict over Mara and how to tell the Old Order Master that he wasn't keeping to all of the order's tenets. He knew he couldn't stop Obi-Wan from picking up the nervousness he felt inside, but he did his best to stay calm outwardly.

He knocked on the door and waited for an answer.

3. First or Third person Sample: 1st person five sentences minimum, 3rd person 250 words (ex: reaction to arriving, first time using the Farnsworth.) This device seems a little strange. We have personal communicators like these where I come from, but they’re a lot smaller. But, at least it’s functional. I had my comm when I ended up here, but it doesn’t seem to work at all. I will just have to get used to it.
